My wife and I started our two children in preschool at LSCCS (now SCA) and our youngest recently graduated from the high school. When the school was small we knew all the teachers and families well. Even though it’s considerably larger now, little has changed, except we no longer know all the families. The teachers have always taken a personal interest in our kids and challenged them to excel at school and become balanced, motivated, and godly young adults. Our kids have now both graduated from the school and speak fondly of their time there. We were around in the early years when the school was founded on biblical principles including that of freedom in Christ, and it has remained unchanged all these years later. The school provides a solid Christian atmosphere that is not legalistic or overreaching. The school is run well, delivering a superior academic education where students are encouraged to develop personally and find who they are in Christ. The only thing that could make it better is a free lunch.

We were just there to attend our Grandson Ethan Lind 6th grade graduation and our grandson Caleb senior graduation. While there we took Ethan to our hotel to stay with us. While at the hotel there was an elderly blind couple who was in the pool and wanted to go to the hottub. Ethan helped them out of the pool and down the side to the hot tub. I do have a picture if you want it. We just thought you as a school needed to know how he willingly helped this couple. We are so proud of him. Thanks, Janice Lind

My kids are getting so much more than excellent academic instruction. SCA teachers sincerely partner with us to shape the hearts and minds of our daughters. Grace and accountability are modeled daily, where integrity, respect, and hard work are encouraged. I also appreciate that our kids are able to make the most of their class time, because the environment is peaceful.

Our family is so thankful for Summit Christian Academy. It has been a major part of our lives for over 10 years. My daughter graduated from SCA in 2007 with 18 actual college credit hours she was able to take with her to Baylor University. She was prepared for the hard work expected there and did very well. My son has attended since Kindergarten and this is his home. He has been involved in the soccer program for years, but more recently has jumped in to the music program full force. SCA has so much to offer each student and with the level of instruction our students are receiving I's at state competitions in academics, music, and art and our sports teams are also making a name for our school. Even with all that said, please know my favorite part is that our kids are loved and prayed for and are known by name by their faculty and staff. I would highly recommend SCA to interested families!!

First of all I want to thank SCA for all they've done over the last 4 years for me. All the teachers and students are really great. If you're looking for a good Christian school with great academics and people, this is your school.

We feel blessed to have discovered SCA on a billboard in 1998. SCA’s strong academics, amazing teachers and great families have kept us committed to the school over the years. The school is truly a partner in Christ with the educating of our three children.

The moment I walked in, God spoke to me very clearly. I knew in my heart, before the tour even began, that I needed to do whatever it took to get my child into this school.

I am so happy the Lord has let me have so many years to enjoy my great grandchildren and to be able to contribute to the Christian school started by a handful of Christians who thought there should be one in Lee's Summit. I am 93 years old and have been so blessed by the Lord and I count my grandchildren and great grandchildren as my richest blessings. May God continue to bless Summit Christian Academy and I hope all the children, the parents, and grandparents all give God the glory.

I am thankful that Brittany and Blake are in a Christian environment that will give them the foundation they will need in a not so friendly world!! Psalm 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

The teachers and staff of Summit Christian Academy (LSCCS when I was there) will never know how much they impacted my life. I moved away my senior year and never officially graduated from LSCCS, but in my heart its my its my school....my alma mater. I now am a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and lead the young adult ministry at Christian Life Center. None of this would have been possible without the help and guidance I received from the teachers all the way to my coaches. This is not only the best school in Missouri, but in the entire United States.

Many many thanks to the High School baseball team ... They came to our Lee's Summit neighborhood and had a workout together clearing snow from driveways and sidewalks on Monday afternoon, March 25. They came en masse and began working, clearing every sidewalk and driveway thing down Vista Drive in Lee's Summit. Thanks so much for the community outreach, and thanks to the team and coaching staff ! Have a great season!
