Admissions at Summit Christian Academy

Thank you for your interest in Summit Christian Academy, one of Kansas City's top Christian schools according to Ingram's magazine.

Admission Requirements

Summit Christian Academy serves Christian families by partnering with parents and the church to train children. At least one parent must be a born-again Christian, agree with our Statement of Faith, and be an active member of a Bible-believing church.

Students enrolling in Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before July 31. Preschool students must be two-and-a-half years of age on or before July 31 and be fully potty trained.  Pre-Kindergarten students must be four years of age on or before July 31.

Admissions Process

  1. Summit Christian Academy's application packet must be filled out and returned along with the enrollment fee and the payment plan fee (if applicable).
  2. Once the application and appropriate fees are received, we request a pastor reference from the applicant’s home church and records from the student’s former school. Covenant church members receive a discounted enrollment fee.
  3. Student testing is scheduled.
  4. Once all records are received and testing is completed, a family interview is scheduled with an administrator.
  5. Following the interview, you will be notified of your student’s enrollment status.
